2. Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until accepted or confirmed by Not Just Blonde Studio.

Scheduling and completion requirements

Please arrive on time and follow all preparation instructions.

Late arrival may result in reduced service time, modification of the service, rescheduling, cancellation, or applicable fees.

We reserve the right to decline, modify, discontinue, or reschedule a service when reasonably necessary for safety, professional, operational, or conduct-related reasons.

3. Consultations and Client Disclosures

Certain services may require a consultation, strand test, patch test, deposit, extension color match, or assessment before booking.

You agree to disclose relevant information that may affect the safety or outcome of a service, including:

Previous hair color

Bleach or chemical treatments

At-home color

Relaxers or keratin treatments

Hair-extension history

Allergies or sensitivities

Scalp or skin conditions

Medications or health concerns relevant to the service

Previous adverse reactions

We may decline or modify a service when it is not considered safe, appropriate, or reasonably likely to produce a satisfactory result.

4. Pricing

Website prices may represent starting prices unless expressly described as fixed.

Final pricing may vary based on:

Travel distance

Parking, valet, tolls, or venue access

5. Deposits and Payments

Certain appointments, extension orders, bridal bookings, event bookings, or group services may require a deposit or retainer.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

The deposit reserves the appointment or event date.

The remaining balance is due by the deadline communicated during booking.

Deposits may be applied toward the scheduled service.

Deposits may be nonrefundable if an appointment is canceled late, rescheduled late, or missed.

Custom-ordered hair extensions and products may require full payment before ordering.

Travel, parking, toll, valet, accommodation, product, hair, assistant, or additional-service fees may apply.

You authorize us and our payment providers to process the agreed charges using the payment method you provide.

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

Appointments require reserved professional time.

The cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and no-show policies communicated through the booking system, appointment confirmation, proposal, invoice, or service agreement will apply.

Unless a different policy is communicated, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

Late cancellations, repeated rescheduling, and missed appointments may result in:

Loss of the deposit

A cancellation or rescheduling fee

A charge of up to the scheduled service amount

Required prepayment for future appointments

Refusal of future bookings

For weddings, bridal parties, group services, and on-location events, the terms in the applicable proposal or signed agreement will control when they differ from these Terms.

7. Bridal, Group, and On-Location Services

Bridal, group, and on-location services may require:

A signed agreement

A retainer or deposit

A minimum service amount

A confirmed service count

A final schedule

A final payment deadline

Travel, parking, toll, valet, or accommodation fees

Additional artists or assistants

Adequate working space, seating, lighting, and electrical access

The client is responsible for providing accurate information regarding:

Location

Access and parking instructions

Service start time

Required completion time

Number of clients

Requested services

Venue restrictions

Changes requested after confirmation are subject to availability and may require additional charges.

We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information, inaccessible locations, client or guest lateness, venue restrictions, weather, traffic, or events outside our reasonable control.

8. Service Results

Hair and makeup results vary depending on factors including:

Starting hair color and condition

Previous chemical treatments

Hair texture, porosity, and density

Skin type and sensitivity

Product use

Environmental conditions

Maintenance and aftercare

Compliance with preparation instructions

Reference photographs are used for inspiration and communication. They do not guarantee an identical result.

You agree to communicate questions or concerns during the appointment so reasonable adjustments can be considered.

9. Service Adjustments and Refunds

Completed beauty services are generally nonrefundable.

If you have a concern regarding a completed service, contact us within seven days of the appointment and explain the issue.

At our discretion, we may offer an evaluation or a reasonable corrective service.

A complimentary correction may be declined when:

Another provider has changed or altered the work

At-home color or chemical products were applied

Aftercare instructions were not followed

The requested result was modified or declined for safety reasons

The concern results from normal wear, maintenance, or factors outside our control

The client changed their mind about an approved color, style, length, or design

Corrective services and refunds remain subject to the circumstances of the individual appointment and applicable law.

10. Hair Extensions

Hair-extension pricing may include separate charges for:

Consultation

Hair purchase

Color matching

Installation

Cutting and blending

Maintenance

Removal

Reinstallation

Replacement hair

Extension hair and other custom-ordered products are generally nonrefundable once ordered.

You are responsible for following all extension care and maintenance instructions.

We are not responsible for matting, slippage, breakage, hair loss, damage, or reduced extension life caused by:

Improper maintenance

Missed maintenance appointments

Unsuitable products

Excessive heat

Improper brushing or drying

Swimming or environmental exposure

Work performed by another provider

Failure to follow aftercare instructions

11. Allergies, Sensitivities, and Reactions

Hair, makeup, adhesive, skincare, and chemical products may cause irritation, sensitivity, allergic reactions, or unexpected results.

You are responsible for informing us of known allergies, sensitivities, medical considerations, and previous reactions before the service begins.

A patch test or strand test does not guarantee that a reaction or unexpected outcome will not occur.

Not Just Blonde Studio does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Seek appropriate medical care if you experience a serious or persistent reaction.

12. Client Conduct

Clients and guests must behave respectfully toward artists, staff members, contractors, and others present.

We may refuse or end a service due to:

Threatening or abusive behavior

Harassment

Discrimination

Intoxication

Unsafe or unsanitary conditions

Repeated nonpayment

Repeated missed appointments

Requests that violate safety or professional standards

When a service is ended because of client conduct, payments already made may be nonrefundable.

13. Minors

A parent or legal guardian may be required to approve services for a minor and may need to remain present during the appointment.

We may decline to perform certain chemical, extension, or makeup services on minors at our professional discretion.

14. Photographs and Media

We may request permission to photograph or record completed work.

Identifiable client images will not intentionally be published for marketing without permission or another lawful basis.

When permission is granted, images may be used on our website, social media, portfolio, advertisements, and other promotional materials.

A separate photography or model release will control when one has been signed.

15. Retail Products

Product availability and pricing may change without notice.

Returns or exchanges are governed by the return policy communicated at the time of purchase.

Opened, used, customized, special-order, or sanitary products may not be returnable.

We are not responsible for reactions or results caused by improper product use or failure to follow product instructions.

Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
